The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians sponsors an Irish History Contest each year where students are able to explore our rich history and possibly earn themselves a cash prize.   This contest has a different theme each year and is open to students in grades 6-8 and 9-12.   This years theme is the Golden Age of Irish Literature.   

Deadlines: 

• Student submissions are due to the local LAOH Division by November 15, 2024
• Division judges must submit student Division level winners to State Board by Dec. 15, 2024
• State Board judges must submit student State level winners to National Historian by Feb 15, 2025
• National winners will be announced by March 31, 2025
